Reggae/pop recording artist Tovel Pearce was born on June 26, 1985, in Kingston, Jamaica. As a child, his parents moved to a small district called Central Village in Spanish Town, St. Catherine,Jamaica. He is the 3rd child of 6 children to his parents Lascelles and Vilma Pearce. Stingah Tee siblings are Carlton 40, Keon 38, Chevoy 33, Chanese 24, and Vilecia 19. As a youngster growing up in CV, Tovel adapted to the lifestyle of playing marble, flying kites, and swimming at the river with his childhood friends Sadeke “Say”, Martin “Romie”, Garfield “Garry”, and many others. He started liking music when his father Lascelles started teaching him how to play the drums at the young age of 5 in his grandmother Bishop J.H Pearce’s Church Mt. Zion Apostolic in Queens Lane. Stingah Tee mother Vilma was a gospel recording artist and the Choir Director, she joined a gospel band formed by his father. A few of his idols growing up are: Bob Marley, Musiq Soulchild, Tyrese, Lauren Hill, Wayne Wonder, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, and various Reggae Artists from the early 1990s. After migrating to Miami, Florida in 1996, he started singing/writing music in 1999/2000 when he began High School at the age of 14 attending Miami Carol City Sr High. As he continued to find his style of music Tovel came across Decky D during a project and soon after he was signed to GXYZ label.
